AIPEX is a marketing alliance of five European Patent and Trademark Attorney companies in France, Germany, United Kingdom, the Netherlands and Poland. This alliance was founded in 2010 to cater for industries and Patent and Trademark Attorneys in the Far East, Northern America and ultimately for European Industry. At present AIPEX is developing mainly business in the Far East. In due course the activities will expand also into North America and Europe.
AIPEX is staffed and run by management from the partner firms. The focal point of the administration is in the Eindhoven office in the Netherlands.
The candidate shall be the first employee in AIPEX, so must be able to work on a very independent basis. He or she is an entrepreneurial type, exploring new possibilities and bringing creativity to the team, that consists of professionals working in Partner companies.
The candidate shall have experience in similar roles as management assistant/marketing assistant and is able to work on a flexible basis, to get things done, when these needs to be done. Higher educational background.
The Secretary to the Board reports to the Administration Committee in Eindhoven and supports the international members of the committee as well as members of the other committees (Patent Committee, Trademark Committee, Legal Committee, Non Executive Board Panel).
The work consists of regular assistant activities (filing, preparing notes, managing calendar, booking travel tickets and accommodations, dealing with correspondence) as well as supporting in marketing and business development. Planning and preparing business trips and events, desk research, data research, collating business information, preparing and writing newsletters, brochure and the like.
Fluent in English, French and preferably also German. Above average in English writing.
